In order to further improve the technical level of the province's highway and water transport engineering testing and testing industry, and standardize the engineering mechanism sand test and testing, from November 8 to 9, the 2021 Zhejiang Provincial Highway and Water Transport Engineering Test and Testing Special Competition and Mechanism Sand High-grade Concrete Observation Meeting was held in Wenjing Expressway Project.
37 highway and water transport testing enterprises in the province participated. After two days of fierce competition, 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 winners were determined. The three enterprises of the Wenzhou representative team won the second prize, the third prize and the winner award respectively. Among them, Zhejiang Dawei Detection Technology Co., Ltd. ranked second in total score.
The competition has two parts: theoretical examination and on-site practical exercise. The theoretical examination is mainly based on relevant knowledge such as the mix ratio of sand and gravel raw materials for highway and water transport engineering. The on-site practice takes the design of the mechanism sand mix ratio as the assessment point. At the practical operation site, each group of players completed the test and testing steps within the specified time with skillful skills. Mix ratio design technology is the key to the quality and cost control of concrete construction. Through this competition, the design level of sand concrete mix ratio of various testing institutions has been effectively improved, and technical support has been provided for the construction of concrete construction in engineering.
At present, the promotion of the application of mechanical sand is one of the measures for green development in the field of transportation construction. In the past, sand for traffic engineering has long relied on natural sand. Due to the needs of ecological protection, in recent years, the main domestic natural sand production areas have strictly limited production, and there is a serious shortage of market supply, and mechanical sand and gravel has become the main source of sand and gravel for transportation engineering construction. To this end, the municipal transportation department actively promotes the application of mechanism sand in traffic engineering, and vigorously solves the problem of shortage of sand and gravel resources. Wenjing Expressway Project is the first expressway project in the province to fully use the mechanical sand process, and the utilization rate of mechanical sand on the whole line has reached 100%. Mechanism sand has also been successfully applied to key structural parts such as columns and high piers of the Gaolingtou Reservoir Special Bridge. In order to ensure the quality of the application of mechanism sand, the quality supervision department of traffic engineering also regularly strengthens the quality control of raw materials such as mechanism sand through government supervision and sampling.
It is reported that the competition is sponsored by the Zhejiang Provincial Transportation Department and the Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and co-organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Traffic Engineering Management Center, Wenzhou Municipal Transportation Bureau, Zhejiang Jiaotong Expressway Construction Management Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jiaogong Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhejiang Jiaotong Testing Technology Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Wenzhou Traffic Engineering Management Center, Jingwen Expressway Construction Headquarters, and Jingwen Expressway 4-bid Project Department.
