The prince said, "That was my past life, so I remember." ”
In the second year of the Emperor's reign, the 16-year-old Prince of Shengde was ordered to recruit the rebels. In advance, he ordered people to cut down trees, carved the statues of the four kings and gods, and placed them in the army to pray and boost morale. After the prince's great victory, he donated all the traitors' family property to the temple, and built the Four Heavenly Kings Temple and the Faxing Temple.

In the first year of Emperor Tuigu, Prince Shengde was 22 years old, and the emperor gave him the title of crown prince, and he acted as the state administrator, and the prince gently resigned, and once again mentioned that in the past life in China, he was reborn dozens of times, and in this life, he was born into the imperial family, and he wanted to become a monk and prosper the Dharma of Japan. However, the emperor did not allow the prince to become a monk, and prince Shengde did not dare to resign again, so he had to act as an agent of state affairs.
The emperor often listened to the prince explain the scriptures, and knew that the Dharma was incredible, so he made a big wish, devoted himself to the Buddha, and funded the creation of Buddha statues. Twenty-two years after emperor Tuigu, the emperor chose a thousand people to become monks to revitalize buddhism.
Ten years after the emperor of Tuigu, the Baekje monk Guan Lelai came to Japan to offer books on astronomy, geography, dunjia, and alchemy. The Baekje monk also selected three or four people to study the calendar and the art of alchemy, all of whom were successful in their studies.
One day, the prince said to the courtiers on the left and right, "Before, I was practicing in Hengshan. This monk used to be my disciple and was always around me. He often talked about astronomy, mountains and rivers, and trails. I was born into the royal family, and he also chased after me. ”

Hui Ci said, "There are no words here in the scriptures of other countries!" ”
The prince said, "There should be one more word in this sentence." I remember that in the book I read earlier, there was a word. ”
Hui Ci asked him, "Where is the book that Your Highness read now?" Can you take a look? The prince smiled and said, "At Hengshan Temple in Hengzhou." Hui Ci sighed greatly and folded her hands together.
Fifteen years after Emperor Tuigu, Emperor Kami-Uesu sent his envoy, Ono Meizi (a Japanese asuka-era politician who had been sent to the Sui Dynasty twice in 607 and 609 as an envoy to Sui) to China to retrieve the Buddhist scriptures as a standard publication.
On the eve of on the eve of ono's departure, Prince Shengde told him in detail the direction of Hengshan Mountain, the route into the mountain, and the current situation of the monks in the mountain. He gave several sets of monk's robes to his sister and told him to give them to the monks of Hengshan Mountain in Nanyue. After ono Meizi arrived in China, according to the prince's prior instructions, she found the monks in the mountains, handed over the prince's gifts, and retrieved the scriptures as she wished.

Twenty-six years after Emperor Tuigu, the 47-year-old crown prince said to the minister: "Middle-earth is in the midst of a great war, there is a big country that is about to destroy a small country, and the surname Li will be born at the behest of the world." The national fortunes of the Great Sui will come to an end this year. Later, Li Yuan, Li Shimin's father and son, Taiyuan, raised an army and destroyed the Sui Dynasty. The prince's prophecy was indeed not bad.
In the winter of the same year, the crown prince summoned the crown princess to tell her about cause and effect, and his rebirth in China. The prince said, "Once, when I came from a humble background, when I overheard the Master's teachings, I shaved my head and became Shami. After practicing for more than thirty years, he died at the foot of Hengshan Mountain. When I think about it today, it should have been the last year of the Jin Dynasty. Later, I was reborn in the Han clan, was born again as a human being, and vowed to spread the Dharma from birth to generation, so I climbed Mount Heng and practiced for more than 50 years, when Emperor Wen of Song was in power. After I died, Toto was born in the Goku clan, and once again I got a male figure and became a monk. After more than forty years, after I died, I was born in the Gao clan, when the King of Qi came to the world, and I went to Hengshan and practiced for more than sixty years. When I arrived at the Liang Dynasty, I was born as the son of Liang Xiang, or went to Hengshan to practice, and this life lasted seventy years. At that time, I vowed to be born in Dongying and spread the Dharma. ”
The prince said that if this life ended, he would be entrusted to the poor family in the future and continue to enter the Tao and attain the Fa. He hoped that the crown princess would not be saddened by this.
