In the military parade for the 60th anniversary of the National Day, a total of 10 UAVs of 3 models were developed and produced by Xigong University. The military parade marking the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the development of fighter jets, helicopters, and early warning aircraft participating in the parade have condensed the painstaking efforts and wisdom of several generations of Western industrial figures. Chinese the 90th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army, the UAV square composed of unmanned aerial vehicles developed and produced by Northwestern Polytechnical University made a stunning appearance and once again accepted the inspection of the motherland and the people.
<h1>Xigong University has created many "firsts" in China</h1>
China's first small unmanned aerial vehicle, the first ground effect aircraft, the first 50 kg underwater unmanned intelligent vehicle and the first aviation airborne computer were born in our school. He has trained the country's first doctor of engineering in 6 disciplines, including casting, aerospace manufacturing engineering, flight mechanics, aero engines, underwater weapons, and rocket engines.

In important factories in the aviation field, the proportion of xigong university alumni among technical backbones and party and government leaders exceeds 60%. The 60th anniversary of the founding of Aviation Industry of China commended 10 "Aviation Special Prizes for Serving the Country", including 6 alumni of Xigong University. There are 13 alumni of the 30 meritorious Chinese and Western Universities of Technology who were commended by the "J-10 Project". On May 1, 2017, in the May Day special program "Chinese Dream • Labor Beauty" broadcast by CCTV, 12 chief designers of key models of the Aviation Industry Group gathered here for the first time to report to the motherland and present gifts to the 19th National Congress. 7 of the 12 chief designers are alumni of Xigong University, occupying half of the country. The results of the fourth national "Feng Ru Aviation Science and Technology Elite Award" sponsored by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics were officially announced, and a total of 10 aviation science and technology elites won this honor, including 7 alumni of Xi'an University of Technology.
In the field of aerospace, in the field of China's aerospace, a large number of outstanding alumni of Xigong University have made outstanding contributions to the rapid development of China's aerospace industry, taking the Fourth Research Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation as an example, its major model chief division Chinese and Western University of Technology alumni accounted for 44%, and the national two award winners Chinese and Western University alumni accounted for 45%.
