According to hopshype reporter Michael Scotto, the Hornets have discussed an early contract extension with forward Miles Bridges. Some in the league believe that Bridges' new contract is expected to be around $20 million a year.
In the 2020-21 season, Bridges was the 12th pick of 2018, averaging 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game last season, shooting 40% from three-point range, including 18.6 points and 6.7 rebounds in 19 games as a starter.
