On May 20, Peng An, a Class A fugitive from the Ministry of Public Security, accompanied by his family, surrendered himself to the Ouli Police Station of the Xiannuhu Branch of the Xinyu City Public Security Bureau, and at the moment of seeing the police, he was physically and mentally exhausted, and his relatives around him had long been unable to cry, and there was heartache, but more of a relief.
In order to arrest Peng An as soon as possible, the party committee of the Fairy Lake Sub-bureau attached great importance to and quickly set up a special class to pursue and escape, while following Peng An's traces while doing ideological work for his family, repeatedly went to Peng's home to explain the law to his family, and advised Peng An to surrender himself at an early date. With the assistance of the Criminal Investigation Detachment of the Municipal Bureau and the unremitting efforts of the special police of the Fairy Lake Branch, on the afternoon of May 20, the fugitive Peng An came to the Ouli Police Station of the Fairy Lake Public Security Bureau and surrendered himself.
After investigation, in April 2018, the criminal suspect Peng An and others excavated the tomb of the ancient Han Dynasty (a national key cultural relics protection unit) in Zhoucun Town, Dingzhou City, Hebei Province, and absconded after the incident, and the Dingzhou police listed him as an online fugitive.
At present, the case is under further consideration.
On May 18, another fugitive, Cao Xiaohan, surrendered himself to the Fengyi County Public Security Bureau.
