鐘進田，字練之，号榮康，1963年出生于廣東梅州人，移居香港、畢業于香港嶺南大學，藝術史文學碩士，當代藝術家、鑒賞家、收藏家。
現為：全國書畫藝術委員會副主席，人民大會堂首席藝術顧問，中央美術學院客座教授，中國管理科學研究院智庫專家文化藝術類客座教授，北京書法家協會首席主席，中國書法家協會會員，國家一級美術師，中國傳統文化促進會會員，香港美術家協會副主席，香港文聯書法家協會會員，田墨軒藝術館創辦人，中國收藏家協會會員，人民書畫報理事會主席，廣州(中國)古陶瓷研究會研究員，藝術品鑒定評估分析師，中國青少年學習網講席教授，香港高等美院特聘教授，中國管理科學研究院專業技能注冊職業拍賣師，中國“國務外交禮品師”榮譽稱号。

2023年6月經中央電視台《藝術傳承》欄目組研究決定，特為鐘進田頒發CCTV《藝術傳承人》榮譽稱号。

2023年12月鑒于鐘進田在書畫領域做出的卓越成就，且在金磚五國的文化交流中具有很高的影響力，國際文學藝術聯合會-美術家協會特授予鐘進田“金磚藝術家”榮譽稱号。

Zhong Jintian, also known as Lianzhi and Rongkang, was born in 1963 in Meizhou, Guangdong. He moved to Hong Kong and graduated from Lingnan University in Hong Kong with a Master's degree in Art History and Literature. He is a contemporary artist, connoisseur, and collector.
Currently: Vice Chairman of the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, Chief Art Advisor of the Great Hall of the People, Visiting Professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Expert in Cultural and Art Studies at the Chinese Academy of Management Sciences Think Tank, Chief Chairman of the Beijing Calligraphers Association, Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, National First Class Artist, Member of the China Association for the Promotion of Traditional Culture, Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong Artists Association, Member of the Calligraphers Association of the Hong Kong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Founder of the Tian Moxuan Art Museum, Member of the Chinese Collectors Association, Chairman of the People's Calligraphy and Painting Newspaper Council, Researcher of the Guangzhou (China) Ancient Ceramics Research Association, Art Appraisal and Evaluation Analyst, Chair Professor of the China Youth Learning Network, Distinguished Professor of the Hong Kong Academy of Fine Arts, Professional Skills of the China Academy of Management Registered professional auctioneer, awarded the honorary title of "State and Diplomatic Gift Master" in China.

At the first meeting of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in March 2023, Teacher Zhong reported to the people and presented gifts to the two sessions.
In May 2023, the State Guest Rites (Foreign Affairs) Management Center, the State Guest Rites Art Appraisal and Evaluation Committee, and the State Guest Rites Cultural Market Protection Committee's leadership group decided to appoint Professor Zhong Jintian as a specially invited art consultant.
In May 2023, in view of Zhong Jintian's outstanding contributions in the field of calligraphy and painting art, the relevant materials based on your calligraphy and painting art works were officially included in the "China Post". After strict approval by the competent department, it is allowed to publish a stamp album known as the national business card, and awarded the honorary title of "New Era People's Artist" by Zhong Jintian Guoli, an artist.

In September 2023, the Management Bureau of the Great Hall of the People, Collection Certificate No. 11622, a piece of Mao Zedong's poem "The People's Liberation Army Occupy Nanjing" by Zhong Jintian has been collected by our bureau.
In September 2023, in view of Professor Zhong Jintian's artistic works, which are also renowned in the international cultural field and have played a positive role in the country's foreign exchange activities, the evaluation committee of the State Diplomatic Gifts Teacher Network has decided to award Zhong Jintian the honorary title of "State Diplomatic Gifts Teacher".
In September 2023, in recognition of the outstanding artistic achievements and contributions made by Professor Zhong Jintian in promoting traditional Chinese culture and inheriting Chinese intangible cultural heritage, he was awarded the honorary title of "Ambassador for the Promotion of Intangible Cultural Heritage".
In October 2023, Professor Zhong Jintian was awarded the honorary title of "Master of Calligraphy Art of the People's Republic of China" for his outstanding contributions to the development of the cultural and artistic industry since the establishment of the People's Republic of China. After being assessed and approved by the China Modern and Contemporary Art Awards Committee and the World Art Market Development Center, he meets the standards of China Modern and Contemporary Art Masters.
