如圖所示,在IPv6拓撲網絡中有4台路由器,現要求在這4台路由器上實作網絡互聯,并且因為RouterA和RouterB性能相對較低,是以還要使這兩台路由器處理相對較少的資料資訊。
本示例沒有什麼特殊要求,僅要求通過配置IS-IS基本功能實作各網絡的三層互通。但要特别注意的是,示例中要求RouterA和RouterB僅需處理較少的資料,就需要把它配置成普通區域中的L1路由器。當然首先還得配置各路由器接口的IPv6位址,使它們之間三層可達。
根據以上分析可得出本示例如下的基本配置思路
① 按圖中表示配置各路由器接口哦IPv6位址。
② 按圖中表示配置各路由器的IS-IS IPv6基本功。

【在Router-A上執行display isis Router】檢視其IS-IS路由表,發現除了本區域内的兩個網段路由外,還新增了一條用于通路外部區域、外部AS路由的預設路由,這時由本區域L1/2路由器(本示例中的RouterC)下發的。
