Long awaiting the rise of MSG Sphere, the largest sphere-shaped music and entertainment arena in the world, is scheduled to grand opening in September 2023. MSG Sphere management team is recruiting the first opening team in Las Vegas market.
Mr. Ryan Howe, Manager of Campus Relations and Program Management, and Ms. Luci Ventura, People Acquisition Coordinator at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., both based in New York, did the Zoom class for our students. Ryan Howe is also a great educator encouraging students to write resume well, have the LinkedIn account updated, expose themselves to various hospitality fields and build their career and bridges in the industry.
Our students are fortunate to learn live about the new venue, new design, new game, new entertainment, new technology and new sphere at Las Vegas Las Vegas Sands Corp.' The Venetian Resort Las Vegas parking lot, in our regular event management class time. Students are eager to join the first opening team at MSG Sphere as "Student Associate Team". I really want to invite our students to share their MSG Sphere working experience in our Fall 2023 semester in various event management and hospitality courses at UNLV.
April 11 class came in Allegiant Stadium team, and April 13 class joined by MSG Sphere at our TCA 210 Event Management class. Wow! UNLV William F. Harrah College of Hospitality is an amazing entertainment+ college to expose students to the cutting-edge entertainment facilities in the world. This is some hospitality education I didn't imagine while I was in college in the mid-1990's. Cheers. Thanks again MSG Sphere team today.
