What is an Application Server
1：AS是一個軟體程式，可以 host, deploy and manage各式各樣不同的應用。WSO2-Application Server主要處于UI（ user-interaction）和資料庫通路層（database layer）之間。
2：例如：當使用者點選了一個“送出”按鈕；将會調用部署在AS中的Web service。
3：AS：還管理比如一些，security, monitoring, governance, high-availability etc。
4：AS把一些基礎的核心的功能，都做成一個可以服用的子產品。程式員隻需要關注業務程式。不需要關注比如：database interactions, client request management, session management and security in addition to the actual business logic.
