3.1 Joint Action Unit localisation and intensity estimation through heat map regression

• 2018年，已開源
• 可以通過heatmap預測Action Unit localisation 和 強度
• 表情識别一般指的是（人的6種基本表情或者Action Unit）
• 現在的AU預測一般也都利用了人臉特征點定位的資訊。
• 本文使用hourglass網絡，輸入是256✖️256并且被register的人臉圖檔
• 網絡的輸出是n✖️64✖️64的heatmap，n代表的是AU的個數
• 使用label augmentation的方法來解決資料标注不足的問題。
• 預測的intensity是連續的range0-5。
• 因為目前的真值資料庫裡都沒有heatmap，是以需要生成heatmap Grountruth
• 資料增強方案：（1 ）input資料：register之前，随機的特征點擾動。（2）intensity label的增強。之是以擾動intensity，是因為标注的時候intensity就是人為的、主觀的。
• 推理過程：輸入圖像->特征點檢測->aligned to the registered image->cropped and rescaled to network input size
