1.1.2      Data Center Manager

Term	Definition	中文釋義
Node	A single server or a PDU device.	Node是一個單獨伺服器或者一個PDU裝置
Group	A collection of nodes or groups. Can be physical or logical group.	Group是nodes或者groups的集合。可以是實體group或者邏輯group。
Entity	Either a node or group.	Entity要麼是node，要麼是group
Managed Entity	An entity exposing its manageability thru certain interface/protocol, and managed by Data Center Manager via its management interface (e.g, a node enabled with Intel® Intelligent Power Node Manager, a Dell Nucleon enclosure exposing SSH based management interface).	一個entity通過某些接口、協定來展現它的管理能力；并且由DCM通過它的管理接口來管理。(舉例：一個node由Intel的智能功率節點管理器進行管理；一個Dell核enclosure基于管理接口來展現SSH)
Physical group	A group of nodes or groups, defined by physical characteristics. (e.g., rack, row, datacenter)	一個實體組是一個用實體特征參數定義的nodes或者groups組成的group。(比如：rack、row、datacenter)
Logical group	A group of nodes or groups, defined by any non-physical parameters. (e.g., a group for web servers, a group of servers belonging to same vendor)	一個邏輯組是一個由任何非實體特征參數定義的nodes或者groups組成的group。(比如：一組Web伺服器，由同一廠商提供的一組伺服器)
Control policy	A limitation on the power consumed by the node or by the group	對node或者group所消耗的功率的一種限制
Enterprise Consoles	Monitoring and management tools, interact with Data Center Manager programmatically	企業控制台是監控和管理工具，和DCM通過程式化互相影響
Unique Identifier	A unique integer value supplied by Data Center Manager that represents an entity in Data Center Manager	唯一辨別符是一個由DCM提供的代表DCM中一個entity的唯一整數值(即唯一辨別符和entity一一對應)

Primary DCM Server	In tiers managed model, the DCM instance that manages one or more Secondary DCM Servers and provides single management enter point for ISV management console.	在層級管理模式下，這個DCM執行個體管理着一個或者多個Secondary DCM Servers，并且為獨立軟體開發商管理控制台提供單一管理進入點
Secondary DCM Server	In tiers managed model, the DCM instance that provides nodes and groups level and is managed by Primary DCM Server	在層級管理模式下，提供nodes和groups層次的DCM執行個體，是由主DCM伺服器來管理的
