Ubuntu手動安裝或更新VMware Tools

安裝環境

開啟虛拟機。
在VMware Workstation菜單欄選擇“虛拟機 > 安裝 VMware Tools”，等待CD/DVD Drive挂載VMware Tools，如下圖所示：

右鍵點選VMwareTools tar.gz壓縮包，選擇“Extract To…”解壓縮到使用者目錄中，我這裡選擇了Downloads。

進入vmware-tools-distrib目錄，右鍵點選空白處選擇“Open in Terminal”打開終端

安裝VMware Tools需要超級使用者權限，使用以下指令安裝：
```
sudo ./vmware-install.pl
           
```
輸入登入密碼，一路回車即可。

提示：安裝過程中可能會出現以下語句，詢問ifconfig所在位置。
```
What is the location of the "ifconfig" program on your machine?
           
```
可以再打開一個終端視窗使用“Whereis”指令檢視：
```
Whereis ifconfig
           
```
傳回結果如果是：

說明系統中沒有ifconfig，可以使用以下指令安裝：
```
sudo apt install net-tools
           
```
傳回結果如果是：

說明ifconfig位置就在/sbin/ifconfig
