Starting Monday, China resumed outbound group travel to 20 countries, including Thailand, the Maldives, the United Arab Emirates, Russia and New Zealand. The mass return of Chinese travelers is boosting confidence in the economic recovery of countries that depend heavily on tourism.

中國文化和旅遊部釋出《關于試點恢複旅行社經營中國公民赴有關國家出境團隊旅遊業務的通知》，2月6日起，試點恢複全國旅行社及線上旅遊企業經營中國公民赴20個國家的出境團隊旅遊和“機票+酒店”業務。暫停了3年的旅行社出境團隊旅遊正式重新開機。

新冠疫情暴發前，中國連續多年穩居全球最大出境遊市場。中國旅遊研究院院長戴斌預計，從全年來看，中國出境遊市場将表現出持續回暖、加速複蘇的走勢。從需求來看，中國遊客信心正在持續恢複。窮遊網相關調研表示，超過九成的使用者計劃在一年内出境遊玩，約有四分之一的遊客選擇半年内出行。從供給來看，中國出境遊供應鍊已為市場複蘇做好充足準備。

中國遊客的“組團回歸”也将為全球旅遊經濟注入強勁動力。以泰國為例，2023年預計将有500萬至600萬人次中國遊客到訪泰國，為當地旅遊經濟複蘇帶來活力。
