（81）The Crow and the Sheep
A troublesome crow sat on the back of a sheep.The sheep hated this very much, but he still carried her and went about for a long time. At last he said,“If you sit on the back of a dog in this way, you will get your lunch from his sharp teeth." To this the crow replied,“I despise the weak and yield to the strong. I know whom.I may bully and whom I must flatter.In this way I prolong my life to a good old age.”
烏鴉與綿羊
一隻讨厭的烏鴉蹲在一隻綿羊的背上。綿羊非常不喜歡這樣，但是他仍然背着她到處走了好長時間。最後他說：“如果你去蹲在狗身上，你可以從他鋒利的牙齒之間吃到午飯的。”烏鴉回答說：“我是欺弱怕強。我知道我應該欺負誰，讨好誰。這樣我才活到了這麼一大把年紀。”
