【習語注釋】poke表“袋子”，相當于sack或bag。poke源于法語單詞poque，用來指代當時大小剛好可以用來裝小豬（piglet）到市場上出售的小袋子。該習語的字面意思是“購買袋子的豬”，但其實際意思是“不看清貨色就瞎買東西”，是以也常用于否定句中。
