DeGeneres   joked   that   the   award  " sums   me   up   perfectly   as   I   am   both   a   human   and   an   itarian ."

She   then   thanked   director   Andrew   Stanton   for   casting   her   in   his   movie  " Finding   Nemo ",  saying it   gave   her   the   chance   to   have   a   career   again .

" So   three   years   later , ' Finding   Nemo '  es   out ,  my   talk   show   launches   and   then  13  years later   starting   my  13th  season   on   my   show   and   things   couldn ' t   be   better   for   me .  I   am   so   grateful and   this   es   out .  It ' s   really   amazing ."

DeGeneres   is   also   nominated   for   Favorite   Talk   Show   Host   at   the   fan-voted   People ' s   Choice Awards ,  which   will   be   presented   at   the   Microsoft   Theater   in   Los   Angeles   and   broadcast   on CBS .
