godaddy用$2.95優惠碼注冊.com域名不成功

 10月20日我的淘寶客域名終于确定為jianmeiw.com，于是着手注冊，由于在網絡上看到很多人說在國内注冊域名會存在這樣那樣的限制，這樣那樣的風險，而且也貴，我也深以為然，于是就想把這個域名在國外的域名注冊商注冊，經過多方打探最後确定在godaddy注冊，這家域名注冊商不僅是全球最大的域名注冊商而且還有很多有優惠碼，相對其它的注冊商來說要實惠不少。

說幹就幹，在網上找到了一個注冊com域名隻要2.95美元的優惠碼，看到這個優惠碼非常的高興，這是相當的便宜啊，于是馬上在godaddy網站上注冊一個帳号就開始了域名的注冊，雖然網站是全英文的，而且我的英文水準也不咋滴，但注冊過程操作起來也沒有任何困難，是以詳細的操作步驟我就不多說了，百度一搜一大把。在這裡我主要說下最後一步，在最後一步選擇支付方式的時候因為使用了優惠碼，是以隻能選擇信用卡支付或者支票支付，信用卡一定要是國際雙币種信用卡（一般為vsia卡和mastercard卡），不然不能用來支付美元。當我選擇信用卡支付填寫了信用卡資訊進入下一步需要輸入驗證碼，輸入完驗證碼最後送出的時然後沒有支付成功，給出了如下的提示

“Unfortunately, we are unable to process your purchase using this form of payment. Please utilize another form of payment, or contact [phone] for further assistance.”

大概意思就是說無法用這種方式完成付款，請用其它的支付方式或者撥打他們的熱線。看到這樣的資訊感覺很奇怪，但是我也不氣餒，在網上搜尋了一下發現很多人都遇到了這樣的問題，但是知道真正原因并解決的很少，我隻搜尋到了兩個人通過godaddy的線上幫助解決了這個問題，雖然不知道為什麼會出現這樣的提示，但是我還是參考網上的解決辦法在godaddy的線上幫助上給他們發去了我的求助信告訴他們的遇到的問題，内容如下

“i want to register domain "jianmeiw.com" via my mastercard card, but when i want to pay for this domain this is a error :

Unfortunately, we are unable to process your purchase using this form of payment. Please utilize another form of payment, or contact [phone] for further assistance.

but Creditcard is the only one payment method

how can i resolve this problem，thanks.”

到第二天淩晨3點的時候（和美國有時差，呵），我收到了godaddy的回信内容如下

“Dear Yu Mingtang,

Thank you for contacting Online Support.

I understand you are experiencing an issue with processing the order for your domain name. In order for us to properly look into this issue we will need to attempt to duplicate the order and the error that you are receiving. If the issue continues, please respond with the following information:

• The items that you have in the cart that you are attempting to order.

• Your confirmation that you authorize the charge shown in the cart (include the exact amount).

• The last 4 digits of the payment method you are attempting to use (Adding and Updating the Credit Card Information for Your Account).

• That you have read and agree to our Universal Terms of Service.

• Specific statements for any other listed agreements from the shopping cart. These must be specific statements to any agreements showing just prior to checkout.

• Please also include your account's 4 Digit Support PIN.

Once this information is provided we can attempt to place the order on your behalf. This will help to determine if any issues are present in the cart and where they may be coming from. Thank you for your cooperation.

To verify the Support PIN linked to the customer number::

Log into the account. Once logged in you will see the account holders first and last name in capital letters towards the top of the screen. Under the account holders name will be the Customer Number with the the word 'PIN:' followed by 4 blue, underlined asterisks. ****. Clicking the four blue stars (****) will show your 4 Digit Support PIN.

這封郵件的主要内容就是讓我提供5方面的資訊，第一方面是讓我提供我現在購物車裡面的商品資訊，第二方面是讓我提供我的購物車裡面的商品費用部和，第三方面就讓我提供我用于支付的信用卡最後4位數字，第四方面是問我有沒有閱讀并同意他們的 Universal Terms of Service。第五方面是讓我提供我的call-in PIN，也就是注冊時候填的那個PIN好友善确認我的資訊。于是我按照要求将這5方面的資訊回複給了godaddy，回複内容如下

“The items that you have in the cart that you are attempting to order.

====>yourdomain.com 1 year $3.13 and yourdomain.info 1 year $0.18  total $3.31

====>yes, i confirm. Total $3.31

====>The last 4 digits of the payment method i am attempting to use is  xxx(信用卡最後四位)

====>yes, i have read and agree to your Universal Terms of Service.

Please also include your account’s 4 Digit Support PIN.

====>my 4 Digit Support PIN is xxxx(四位數的pin碼)”

注意：紅色部分要根據自己的實際情況進行填寫，為了保護我的隐私，我就用符号代替一些關鍵部分了

還有，在回複之前一定要在先在帳戶裡面把自己的資訊卡信用添加到支付方式裡面去，不然就會收到如下的郵件

“Dear Yu,

Thank you for the reply. While attempting to verify this issue, we note that this payment method is not on the account.

To Add a Payment Method

1.Log in to your Account Manager.

2.Go to the Payments tab.

3.Click Payment Methods.

4.Above the Payment Methods list, click either Add a Credit Card, Add a Checking Account, orAdd a Gift Card.

5.In the New Payment Information area on the right, enter the required New Account Details.

6.Click Save Changes.

We will also need to verify the 4 digit Support PIN on the account. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. The PIN can be found by logging in to your account:

-Click the 'My Account' tab at the top right of the page.

-Under your name you will see 'Pin:' with 4 blue, underlined asterisks. ****

-Click the 4 blue, underlined asterisks.

Then reply with the PIN.

這個郵件是告訴我他們沒有發現我的帳戶裡面有支付方式，是以讓我先添加上支付方式以後再聯系他們，添加方法也在郵件裡面告訴了我，呵呵，還是比較周到的。

過了大概有五、六個小時以後，悲劇發生了，我收到了他們的回複郵件，慢以為會告訴我已經幫我注冊好了域名，沒想到他們的回複居然是說我用的優惠碼無法在我的地區享受，無法為要處理我的請求。坑爹啊。原文如下

Thank you for your reply. I understand you are encountering an issue placing an order in your account. In reviewing your order it appears the promotional code you are using is invalid in your region. As such we would be unable to process the order on your behalf as we must follow the promotions region of use guidelines.

這次哥真的怒了，這個優惠碼10月9日釋出的，經過這麼幾天都不知道有多少中國的站長注冊過了，到現在居然跟我說我所在的地區無法享受優惠，于是我回複了如下的郵件表示了我的不爽

“Why Promotional code is not valid? Many people are using this promotional code successfully registered, why can not I? Because I am Chinese?”

我就不解釋了，反正就是表示我很不爽，我現在在等他們怎麼回複。。。。

等了幾個小時，那邊給了回複，還是和原來的答複差不多，我是徹底無語了，死心了。内容如下

沒辦法，我最終隻能無奈使用他們的永久優惠碼用$7.99的價格把jianmeiw.com域名給注冊了下來。看來godaddy對我們中國大陸的域名注冊政策還是有很多的限制啊。不過$7.99相對國内來說也不貴，而且還有全部所有權，非常值得。
