如何讓對方發給你需要的檔案格式？

在日常工作中，經常需要與客戶交換文檔，是以我需要非常清楚的描述我需要的檔案格式。檔案格式（file format）其實由檔案字尾名（file extension)确定的。

常見的檔案字尾名的讀法有三種：

直讀法：（直接讀字母）

.PDF - PDF file

.txt - txt file

.pkg - pkg file

.mp3/.mp4 - mp3/.mp4 file

連讀法：

.gif - [dʒɪf ] / [ɡɪf] file 

.jpeg or .jpg - [dʒepɛɡ]

.tif /.tiff - [tɪf]

.zip - [zɪp]

直接用軟體名：

像Microsoft Word、Excel等Office辦公用文檔，一般會用軟體名表達：Word file、Excel file。

如何告訴對方你要的檔案格式呢？

Could you please send me the file in Microsoft Word format?

或者Could you please send me the flie as a Microsoft Word file?
