下安裝配置HMC

  HMC是一個圖形界面的軟體，運作在經過定制的red hat linux之上，用來對p670之類的機器作邏輯分區。硬體控制管理器，用來做LPAR，目前用于IBM 630、P650、P670、 P690、P750等等。HMC是hardware manage console是硬體管理口，可以另外配置一台pc機和kvm構成控制台，通過控制台管理小型機，用起來比較友善，但一般中小企業沒必要使用硬體套件來實作.

下面介紹一下vmware下的HMC安裝和管理：

1、首先打開虛拟機，建立虛拟機，選擇典型

2、選擇部署軟體位置

3、選擇作業系統類型，選擇其它linux

4、輸入虛拟機的名字

5、配置設定硬碟大小，雖然安裝隻會用到8個G左右，但是至少要配置設定40G才能正确安裝

6、彙總配置資訊，單擊完成

7、但是現在使用的是SATA盤，必須使用IDE盤才行，我們可以移除原來的磁盤，新建立一個磁盤，我們選擇IDE類型磁盤，單擊建立。

8、因為HMC需要安裝在特殊的硬體系統下，這時有一種罪簡單的方法是修改啟動BIOS，網上下載下傳一個HMC.ROM,然後将它放在虛拟機安裝目錄，從它啟動。方法：修改安裝目錄下的vnx檔案，最後一行添加 bios440.filename=“HMC.ROM”。

9、然後開啟虛拟機，選擇istall-&gt;install from media-&gt;finsh.開始安裝。

10、當提示installl additional software from media後，插入第二張CD光牒，點選1，繼續安裝軟體

11、出現紅框裡面的提示後說明HMC已經安裝完成，在鍵盤裡敲入3後回車，完成HMC的安裝

12、開始HMC配置，選擇接受協定，下一步，開始配置時間和時區，配置HMC密碼和額外使用者，配置HMC管理網絡，配置事務等。

13、配置完畢重新啟動開啟了我們的HMC之旅，預設使用者名是hscroot密碼abc123,
