On May 16th, in the Municipal Art Exhibition Hall located in the Nanhu Sports Center of Zigong City, the "Chengdu-Chongqing Bashu Love" 2024 "Discover Little Painters" Youth Children's Art Exhibition was held here.
It is understood that this exhibition is sponsored by the Zigong Cultural Center (Art Museum) and the China Lantern Museum, and a total of 2,900 original art works of young children in Zigong have been collected. The youngest of the authors, 4 years old, and the oldest 17 years old, selected 143 works for the exhibition.
"As early as 2020, the Municipal Cultural Center created and implemented the first 'Discover Little Painters' Youth Art (Handicraft) Exhibition, aiming to inspire and cultivate children's ability to discover and create beauty, show their artistic creation talents and imagination through a childlike vision, and build a cultural brand in the Zigong art world." The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Cultural Center told reporters that it is particularly worth mentioning that this exhibition has expanded the participation objects, and also exhibited 57 works created by teenagers and children from Chongqing Municipality, Zigong Special Education School, Fushun County Special Education School, and Gaodong Primary School in Gongjing District.
The 200 exhibited works cover Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, pen painting, gouache painting, watercolor painting, sketch color pencil, comprehensive materials and other art categories, with a variety of expressions and a wide range of themes, including Zigong lanterns, dinosaurs, well salt ruins, scenic spots, characters and flowers, birds and animals, science fiction world, etc., which not only reflects the children's bold artistic imagination, creativity and expressiveness, but also deeply contains the children's love for nature, love of life, love of peace, love of science, and look forward to the beautiful feelings of the future.
On the evening of May 17, the reporter walked into the exhibition site of the Municipal Art Exhibition Hall and found that many children and their parents came to visit the exhibition. During the exhibition, children will discuss the paintings they are interested in with their parents and take a group photo in front of their paintings as a souvenir. Some parents said that this interaction not only increased the communication and exchange between family members, but also allowed the children to have a deeper understanding of the connotation of the artwork.
Different from previous exhibitions, this exhibition has set up two exhibition sites: the Municipal Art Exhibition Hall and the China Lantern Museum, and the exhibition will last until June 6.
