On the morning of May 17, the launching ceremony of the 2024 Oscar Opera Film Public Welfare Screening of "Inheriting Classics and Innovating Drama Films" was held in Zhengzhou Oscar Huijin Cinema, and was launched simultaneously in nearly 50 Oscar Cinema branch venues through live broadcast.
Since 2022, it has been successfully held twice, bringing the popular opera performances to the big screen and allowing more audiences to feel the charm of opera, which is an important project to promote traditional culture and enrich the cultural life of residents.
The 2024 Oscar Opera Film Charity Screening Cinema covers 18 cities in Henan Province and nearly 50 theaters affiliated to the Oscar Cinema Line. The screening lasts for a month (18 May to 16 June) and includes the classic opera films "Chaoyanggou" and "New Great Sacrifice Pile" and innovative opera films "The Daughter of Dabie Mountain", "The Marriage of Parents", "Young People from the Village" and "Flying Back to the Ravine is a Phoenix".
At the launching ceremony, the relevant leaders of the organizer awarded honorary certificates for outstanding opera film works to the six participating films. At the same time, the "2024 Opera Film Cultivation Platform" will be launched, hoping that more and more young people and good projects will join in the public welfare screening of opera films, jointly explore the new model of "inheriting classics and innovating opera films", and achieve more innovative breakthroughs while strengthening the dissemination of traditional opera classic culture!

After the launching ceremony, the audience watched the red opera movie "The Daughter of Dabie Mountain". After watching the movie, Wei Junying, Cao Wangeng, Wang Xiaojing, Li Pengfei and other main creators appeared to communicate with the audience and share the film in front of and behind the scenes.
