author:玄灬帝

Fu Zheng School, also known as Fu Shui Taoism, is a general name for the various Taoist schools in Taoism that mainly use spells and other methods to cure diseases and drive away ghosts. In the early days, it was represented by Taiping Dao and Tianshi Dao. The Maoshan Shangqing faction, the Gesoshan Lingbao faction, and the Longhu Mountain Tianshi Dao that flourished in the Sui and Tang dynasties in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, as well as the emerging Shenxiao faction, Qingwei faction, Tianxin faction, Donghua faction, Jingming Dao, Taiyi faction, etc., all belong to the Fuqi Taoist faction. The above Fu Zheng sects were headed by the Heavenly Master Dao, and gradually merged into the Zheng Qi after the Yuan Dynasty, and stood side by side with the Danding Dao sect headed by the Quanzhen Dao. The Fu Gong faction uses Fu Gong to pray for disasters, curing diseases and plagues, and helping life and death, which is closely related to Chinese folk life and customs.
