Approaching the New Year, the "Auspicious Rabbit Treasure - Lunar Rabbit Year Zodiac Themed Cultural Relics Exhibition" hosted by the Sichuan Museum will be officially launched in Hall 4 of the Linzhan Hall on January 18, bringing the audience a "rabbit culture feast" with a strong taste of the New Year.
This exhibition will be unfolded from the four major units of "Zodiac Rabbit", "Longevity Auspicious Spirit Rabbit You", "Full Moon Reunion Jade Rabbit Busy" and "Ten Thousand Family Lights Greeting Tonight", tracing the formation of the 12 zodiac signs in the Tiangandi branch, poetry and cultural relics, exploring the meaning of the long life of the Lingtu in mythological stories, stone brick portraits and rabbit-shaped jade, feeling the unique romance of the Jade Rabbit in poetry and song, calligraphy and painting, and discovering the brilliance of rabbit culture in folk handicrafts and non-genetic inheritance.
According to curator Wei Ziqi, in this exhibition, the key cultural relics include the jade rabbit portrait brick of the Queen Mother of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the bronze mirror of the Bagua pattern of the Tang zodiac, the first treasure of the fifth dynasty Shu King Jiantu, and the 12th flower pattern cup of the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty. At the same time, the cultural exhibits of lanterns, paper cutting, shadow puppets and clay sculptures inside and outside Zigong, Yibin, Langzhong, Shanxi, Beijing and other provinces with local characteristics will also be unveiled together.
In addition to the colorful exhibits, the interior design of the exhibition hall highlights the joyful, vivid and cute atmosphere full of flavor. Wei Ziqi said that in addition to the key cultural relics, one of the highlights of this exhibition is the specially designed virtual rabbit treasure "tuantuan" image. The lovely "Tuantuan" will run through the entire tour route, joining hands with the audience to experience the exhibition space that spans ancient and modern, the integration of old and new, and emotional interaction.
In addition, Wei Ziqi said that the "Rabbit Treasure Exhibition" is mainly fun and cute, with many special designs for children, which is very suitable for families to visit and check in together during the Spring Festival. "We have specially adjusted the cultural relics, text, interactive links and other content in the exhibition to a height suitable for children to watch and participate, and also used rich colors to present lively tones throughout the exhibition, while providing a series of small games and interactions. In addition, in the drawing area, children can use their imagination and creativity.
