Aliassime is likely to meet Wawrinka in the second round, with the first seed being Serendolo and the round of 16 likely to face Norrie.

The two highest-ranked seeds in Zone 3/4 are No. 4 seed Deyo and No. 5 seed Rublev. Deyo's first three rounds will hardly be challenged, with 14th-seeded Busta facing No. 14 seed Busta in the round of 16 and possibly Rublev, Rune or Kyrgios in the quarterfinals. Rublev met wildcard Thiem in the first round, 25th seed Evans in the third round, and could face Rune or Kyrgios in the round of 16.
