At the age of 39, he has become one of the youngest deputy chief designers in the field of manned spaceflight on the mainland, leading the team to carry out deepening program demonstration for the mainland manned moon landing project and organizing key technical research. The young deputy chief engineer said his dream of spaceflight began with a live television broadcast he saw in college.

After graduating from the Department of Physics of Peking University, Huang Zhen came to his current work unit, the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group, to pursue master's and doctoral studies. What he did not expect was that as soon as he graduated from his doctorate in 2010, he directly participated in the national key aerospace project.

At present, Huang Zhen has led a manned lunar landing team with an average age of only 35 years old to continuously tackle tough problems, and has organized and completed dozens of key technologies of large and small sizes, such as the fixed-point landing of the manned lunar lander and the survival of the extreme environment on the lunar surface, in order to realize the dream of China's manned moon landing at an early date, with great innovation and adventure, bold innovation, careful verification.
