Liu Yuanzheng, Bei Yanzhai, Master of Fine Arts, China Academy of Arts, studied under Mr. Tang Li. He studied at tianjin academy of fine arts, Shi qi studio of Beijing Academy of Painting, Hu Kangmei Zengxiang studio of National Academy of Painting of China, and visiting scholar of Lu Yushun Studio of National Academy of Painting in 2019. Ph.D. in Educational Philosophy, Cadillera University, Philippines. He is now a specially appointed calligrapher and painter of Hebei Provincial Academy of Calligraphy and Painting; Known for his freehand characters, he has held solo exhibitions in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, Dezhou, Shandong, Hefei, Anhui, Quanzhou, Fujian and other places; he has published "Yangzhai Ink Traces", "Liu Yuanzheng Chinese Paintings", "Chinese Private Collection Painting Complete Book Liu Yuanzheng Volume" and so on.

I was fortunate that in 2016, I was admitted to the Graduate School of the China Academy of Arts and became Mr. Tang Li's Master of Fine Arts student. Mr. Li is a scholar of painting who attaches equal importance to theory and law, and has been immersed in the creation and freehand research for many years, adhering to the excellent tradition and profound family learning, has a broad perspective on the art of the East and the West, and has a more inclusive mind for various types of excellent culture. On the basis of drawing on his predecessors, Mr. Tang Li painted a rambling and majestic style. Mr. Tang Li said: "In the past hundred years, the gradual study of the West and the East has made the Chinese paintings that were once independent of the world, especially the large-scale freehand flower and bird paintings, in serious decline, in this case, Chinese paintings, especially the large-scale freehand flowers and birds, are important to inherit, and inheritance is more meaningful than innovation." The writing here is expressive, a cathartic expression. It's a lot more complicated. It should be the comprehensive knowledge structure of a person, the condensation of all philosophical concepts and cultural concepts, all feelings and perceptions of truth, goodness and beauty, and finally condensed into pen and ink. "Bighand" is the re-condensation and purification of pen and ink. As Ni Zhan said, "Yu Zhizhu chats to write the yiqi ear in the chest", and "yiqi" is Ni Zhan's "meaning". It is his mature artistic accomplishment, the new cultural crystallization produced by the transformation of Confucian and Taoist culture into an individual literati, coupled with the flash of his personality temperament. In the context of capitalization, this is how I understand the "fullness" of Mencius's "fullness is beauty." If not, freehand would really become a catharsis, which is closer to the Western expressionist view. I clearly know that pointillist and line are the cornerstones. Without solving the correctness of the pen and ink consciousness, everything is empty talk. Under the guidance of the teacher, the repeated tempering, the deep experience of meilan zhuju's various themes, in this process, the copying of Tang Wenxuan's works gave me great help. Mr. Tang Wenxuan's pen is strong and strong, and his painting style is thick and majestic, and he can heal my weak disease. Copying the feeling over and over again gradually took effect, slowly using the strength of the pen to strengthen, and the rhythm was clear. Only then did he have the confidence and courage to further pursue the boldness of the picture. There is endless nutrition in tradition, and in the process of learning, I strive to approach and continue the chain of tradition, absorbing her connotation and grace.
