The operation and management team of Shougang Park National Winter Sports Training Center was born in the service guarantee national team and the Winter Olympic Games. In June 2018, with the national team to Shougang stationed in training, the first batch of Shougang transformation workers began to learn ice-making technology and embarked on a new journey of service guarantee for the Winter Olympics. Most of them are transformed and transferred from Shougang workers, and their transformation from "fire" to "ice" is not only a job conversion of their personal careers, but also a microcosm of the transformation and development of Shougang. They have grown from "Xiao bai" who has never seen the ice rink to become an ice maker of the national team, and through unremitting efforts and hard work, they have launched the Shougang ice technology brand, and star icemakers such as Liu Boqiang and Liu Yongliang have also gone to the Winter Olympic Field to serve the Olympic Games.
In the past four years, we have always kept in mind the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's series of important instructions on preparing for the Winter Olympics, and wholeheartedly done a good job in various service guarantees. Starting from the production of the first ice surface, we gradually mastered the ice making and maintenance methods of the four ice rinks of patterns, short tracks, curling and ice hockey; in order to ensure the stability of the ice rink, we implemented 24-hour shift operation; and after the outbreak of the new crown epidemic in 2020, the training base was closed and managed. After entering the sprint stage of the Winter Olympic Games, we have made every effort to create a new benchmark for the Winter Olympics security base camp, and implemented various work plans from the aspects of closed-loop control, ice training, big jumping event holding, accommodation and catering. Strengthen the comprehensive guarantee of training, implement the training guarantee plan after the return of the national team to compete abroad, and arrange for the venue support personnel to be closed and managed with the team to ensure that isolation and training are not wrong. Outstanding guarantee of the figure skating team single event Winter Olympic Selection Competition, China Curling Elite Tournament and Winter Olympic Selection Competition, short track team Winter Olympic Selection Competition. Organize the formulation of the "Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Shougang Group Operation Guarantee Work Plan", compile the "Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Shougang Service Guarantee Work Manual", finely deploy the Winter Olympic Support Work, and successfully complete important tasks such as the "Shougang Ski Jump comprehensive drill", the international snow federation inspection, and pre-competition snowmaking. During the Winter Olympic Games, 22 backbone cadres were drawn to serve the national team to participate in the competition and the Winter Olympic Games, and the team was divided into four ways, respectively, to participate in the national team training guarantee of the Shougang Winter Training Center, the operation team of the Shougang Ski Jumping Stadium, the ice making service of the Capital Gymnasium, and the curling ice guarantee of the National Aquatics Center, of which 17 people worked in the closed loop, and everyone gave up the opportunity to reunite with their families during the Spring Festival, worked hard in their respective fields, and contributed their strength to the successful holding of the Winter Olympic Games.
The team's efforts have yielded fruitful results, from the Shougang Winter Training Center to the field of the short track speed skating national team for the Chinese delegation to win the first gold, and won 3 gold, silver and 1 bronze good results, defending the glory of the "ace master"; figure skating national team Sui Wenjing / Han Cong "onion barrel combination" finale appearance, won the double skating Olympic gold medal, the dream of the Winter Olympics; curling national team worked hard, gained international competition experience, laid the foundation for "cornering overtaking"; the women's ice hockey team did not fail in its mission, Realized the dream of returning to the Winter Olympics after a gap of 12 years. At the Shougang Ski Jump, China's Gu Ailing won the gold medal in the freestyle ski jump, and the youngster Su Yiming won the gold medal in the men's big jump in snowboarding. 5 of the 9 gold medals won by China at the Beijing Winter Olympics are related to Shougang, which is not only the glory of China's ice and snow athletes, but also the pride and pride of our Shougang Winter Training Center!
