The exhibition is divided into four parts, which show the different moods of ancient Chinese women in boudoir, marriage, family, and society. The exhibition hall displays modern multimedia technology, scene restoration and other means, with the representative scenes of women's lives in paintings as the background, combining virtual and real, creating an elegant and aesthetic atmosphere, bringing the audience into the social life of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and feeling the unique beautiful charm and tenderness of ancient women.

Many of the calligraphy and painting artifacts in this exhibition are on display for the first time. Most of the selected paintings on female themes are the works of Anhui regional painters in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, such as Wang Gong, Jin Guike, Jiang Rong, Jiang Tonghui, etc., as well as other masterpieces by other famous domestic artists such as Fei Danxu, Wang Su, Qian Hui'an, Shen Xinhai, etc. The works are diverse in style, different in appearance, and in various techniques, with color and white drawing, as well as brushwork and freehand. Many works also have poetry inscriptions by authors and connoisseurs, which not only have a strong artistic appreciation, but also have a strong academic nature of the works themselves.
