Behind the warmth and healing, from the "walking heart"
"If the Huangpu River is the 'living room', then suzhou creek is the 'back garden' for citizens and tourists." Tao Zhen, director of the Huangpu District Lighting landscape institute, said that unlike the brilliant and warm night lighting of the Huangpu River, the night lighting of the Huangpu section of the Suzhou River wants to reflect the quiet, elegant and soft, and write poetry and painting by borrowing light and shadow as a pen, "So that the road home for the citizens, there is always light, you can feel warm, healing and comfortable." ”

The creation of warmth and healing, in addition to the use of light and shadow, the presentation of some imagery elements is also surprising. For example, on the façade of the building at No. 723 South Suzhou Road, through the transmission of light, the scene of pigeons flying through the sky is presented, the firefly lamp is used to create a dreamy starry sky background, and then a simple shadow art installation is made of irregular stainless steel sheets, and the image of the pigeons is projected on the façade of the building through clever lighting angles.
The construction party revealed that these romantic and naïve pigeons are not easy to assemble. "There are 22 pigeons in total, made up of more than 50 pieces of stainless steel flakes, each of which is different." The construction crew was on site, thin and thin, using a technique similar to building blocks, and finally perfectly presented 22 pigeons.

The District Greening and City Appearance Administration Specially invited two teachers, Named Haipai Artist, President of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Calligraphy and Painting Institute of the Minjian Municipal Committee, and Member of huangpu Minjian Le Zhenwen and his wife Zhang Chi, as the main creators of light and shadow works, and also adopted the paintings of 6 teachers from the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, Hu Kao, Zhu Tao, Shen Jianren, Gu Baoxing, Wang Hongji and Lin Lin, and the relevant member enterprises of Huangpu Minjian also took the initiative to participate in this work. Painting with poetry into light and shadow embodies the artistic characteristics of The Shanghai School of Culture, adhering to the essence of traditional culture, and adding the characteristics of the development of the times in aesthetics and themes.
At the same time, under the guidance of party building, the residents of the Bund street also actively participated, truly reflecting the sharing concept of "the people's city is built by the people, and the people's city is for the people". As one of the 9 major open spots of night lighting in the Huangpu section of Suzhou Creek, the Zhejiang Road Bridge with the theme of "Ten Thousand Lights" has stopped to take photos after the lights are turned on. The old bridgeside house, which is the main landscape, has been moved away by the old residents, but the lights have been carefully arranged - in the silhouettes of the windows, some people are playing saxophones, some people are dancing, some people are looking in the mirror, and there is a cat. The real-life balcony is dotted with greenery, and the combination of virtual and real shows the scene of life.
And these silhouettes are all from the paintings of the residents of the Bund street. Through the joint construction of party building, the hand-painted works of the residents have awakened the memory of the city, and the depiction of "ten thousand lights" is the most authentic presentation of the residents' lives.
