The North Activity Center of the Rizhao County Committee of the Communist Party of China- the ruins of Zhujiling, located in Liangcheng Street, Shanhaitian Tourist Resort, Rizhao City.

In the spring of 1928, after the establishment of the Rizhao County CPC Committee, in order to avoid the sight of the reactionary forces, extensively carry out party activities, and expand the party organization, An Zhe, secretary of the Rizhao County CPC Committee, and others installed the activity center in the north of Rizhao on the ridge. According to records, at that time, the forest in the ridge was towering, secluded and deep, and if people stood on the top of the mountain, they looked around and saw the surrounding villages and several roads. There is an ancient temple standing on the top of the ridge, the incense is not strong on weekdays, and the person who sees the temple is Yang Deyu, a member of the Communist Party. Such natural geographical location and humanistic conditions are conducive to the Secret Work of the Communist Party here. An Zhe used the ancient temple to open a chicken farm and used this as a cover to secretly carry out party activities. Nearly a thousand chickens were raised in the chicken farm, and the responsible persons of the party branches of each village used the excuse of going to the mountains to buy eggs to contact and study the work, to listen to the instructions of the party organizations at higher levels, to understand the international and domestic situation, and to actively publicize the party's ideology and develop party members after returning home. They also learned some simple military techniques here. Li Huilai, a Taoist priest and communist member of the Southern Grand Temple of the Two Cities, was proficient in various boxing techniques, wielded a tiger's head knife, and was good at playing with spears and guns, so he went to the ridge to serve as a boxer. In the process of exchanging marksmanship with Li Huilai and others, An Zhe practiced good marksmanship. For a time, the stationing in Rizhao became an important place for rizhao revolutionaries to hold meetings, exchange military techniques, and learn martial arts and sticks. Through the above activities, the Rizhao County Party Committee has prepared the conditions for leading the peasant movement in terms of organization, military and talent.

Before the Rizhao Uprising, in 1932, the Rizhao Central County Committee of the Communist Party of China held three meetings of party representatives in preparation for the Rizhao uprising, the first and third of which were held in The Ridge. The first meeting, held in mid-August 1932, studied the issue of riots. An Zhe, secretary of the Rizhao Central County PARTY Committee, presided over the meeting and conveyed on behalf of the Central County Party Committee the instructions of the provincial party committee on the rapid holding of riots in Rizhao County. The instructions said: Holding insurrections in the north and creating red base areas is an important measure to cooperate with the Central Red Army in smashing the Kuomintang's "encirclement and suppression." The meeting decided to hold an uprising at the time when the lake was clear in the autumn, and the current task was mainly to prepare for the armed rebellion and organize the launching of the work. On October 4, 1932, the third meeting was held and it was decided to establish the Lunan Revolutionary Committee, which was composed of An Zhe, Zheng Tianjiu, Chen Lei (Mou Chunting), Yu Gongfang, and Han Chengyun, with An Zhe as the commander-in-chief. The Lunan guerrilla column of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army was established, the Red Revolutionary base area was established, and the specific matters of the insurrection were agreed.

As the center of activities in the north of the Rizhao County CPC Committee, the station played an important role in the early stage of the revolutionary struggle in Rizhao and the development of grass-roots party organizations. In June 2008, a monument was erected here by the Party History Research Office of the Rizhao Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. The temple on the ridge was demolished by nearby villagers in the 1950s and 1960s, and the old trees have disappeared, and now a pine forest and crops are planted on the ridge.
