
On September 12, Beijing time, according to a report by European basketball columnist David Pique, sources revealed that Ike Diogu was participating in the training of the Guangdong men's basketball team.
Diogu, 32, was the No. 9 show in the first round of the 2005 NBA and played in the NBA for seven seasons. He has played for the Warriors, Pacers, Trail Blazers, Kings, Clippers, Suns and Spurs.
In the 2012-13 season, Diogu played for Guangdong, averaging 16.9 points and 9.7 rebounds per game and helping Guangdong win the championship. Last season, Diogu played in 41 games for the Dongguan men's basketball team, averaging 23.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.
Previously, the Guangdong team had tried out former Guangsha foreign player Franklin and former NBA player Greg Smith.
