Lai Shengchuan said this about the friendship between the two at the beginning: "After the establishment of the performance workshop, Jin Shijie has a lot of cooperation with us, the most familiar "Crush on Peach Blossom Garden" in the minds of many people he is Jiang Binliu, I have the honor to cooperate with him over the years, so many years can collide. The whole dialogue runs through the deep friendship of the two old friends, Jin Shijie recalled that lai shengchuan did not have a beard when the two first met, and Lai Shengchuan also revealed to the audience for the first time the reason for his beard: "At that time, no one wanted to grow a beard, just because I was teaching at the University of Berkeley in the United States, I found that although my students were younger than me, they all looked older than me, and since then I have felt that bearding is very necessary." The two then reminisced about the teacher who influenced them to enter the field of theater, Mr. Yao Yiwei, who was the first person to encourage Jin Shijie to cooperate with Dr. Wu Jingji after founding the Lanling Theatre, and persuaded Lai Shengchuan to return to China from the United States to create plays. According to Lai Shengchuan's recollection, during Yao Yiwei's study at Xiamen University, his roommate turned out to be Lai Shengchuan's father, and this story surprised Lai Shengchuan.
The two also shared with the audience the details of the 1985 time when they created the classic work "Crush on Peach Blossom Garden", which was born in the living room of Lai Shengchuan's family, when the creators present were only Lai Shengchuan, Jin Shijie, Ding Naizhu and Li Liqun, Jin Shijie said that the wonderful "parting" scene in the play The director did not have any setting at all, all of which were improvised by the actors on the spot, and finally recorded in the book, but became a classic that has been passed down to this day. At the same time, Jin Shijie said that the reason for bringing "Actors Experimental Classroom" at the Wuzhen Drama Festival is to find the youthful state of that year, "I regrouped the actors together for a little nostalgia." For example, Liu Ruoyu was the spring flower on the first version of "Crush on Peach Blossom Garden" that year, and she was also the actor of Hezhu in "Lotus Pearl New Match", and she was the most shining actor in Taiwan that year. Over the years, Liu Ruoyu and the 'Youren Shengu' she founded not only often performed in the mainland, but also changed the way many people lived. This time in the "Actors Experimental Classroom", she will cooperate with her son and daughter, who will play Liu Ruoyu's parents. ”
