Taste the aroma of reading
On the afternoon of April 22, sponsored by Guangming Daily Publishing House and the Second Library of Dongcheng District of Beijing, and co-organized by Nettime Reading Club, Beijing Science and Technology Poetry Garden and Beijing Urban Construction Research and Development Promotion Association, the "100 Years of Brilliant Reading And Reading Fragrance - 100 Years of 100 Words Beijing 'New Beijing New Beijing Flavor' Excellent Works Sharing Meeting" was held on the first floor of The Corner Tower Library.
This year is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in order to present the centenary of the founding of the Party, inherit the excellent culture of Beijing, help the cultural construction of the capital and the reading activities of the whole people, the Dongcheng District Second Library joint network reading club launched the "100 Years of 100 Words Beijing - The Centenary of the Founding of the Party ' New Beijing New Beijing Flavor'" essay collection activity since the second half of 2020, collecting manuscripts from the whole society, which lasted for several months and received enthusiastic responses and enthusiastic submissions from the general public.
At present, after the selection of professional judges, we have selected 100 beautiful essays from 100 authors, compiled and compiled them into a book called "New Beijing New Beijing Flavor 100 Years of Beijing", which was publicly published and distributed in Guangming Daily Publishing House.
Today, on the occasion of World Book Day, we have selected excerpts from 10 works from the book, presented to the vast number of readers in the form of recitation art, and used books to praise the great achievements of the past century and spread the excellent culture of Beijing.
The sharing meeting was presided over by Zuo Kun, director of the Second Library in Dongcheng District, and after Li Lindong, president of the Nettime Reading Club, gave a brief explanation of the essay collection and book writing process, the writers spoke on behalf of Wang Shengshan, and thanked the organizers and co-organizers of the sharing meeting for their dedication and work.
Next, the recitation enthusiasts of the Beijing Science and Technology Poetry Garden recited selected works with enthusiasm. The recitation is divided into two parts, the first part is "Me and Beijing", which includes the works of Wang Shengshan, He Ping, Xiao Fuxing, Wang Zheng, and Wang Tong, and the second part is "The New Look of the Ancient City", including the works of Han Zhiyuan, Hua Jing, Min Jie, Hu Yuqi, and Liu Hong.
Through the recitation performance, the excellent works are more three-dimensional and infectious, and won the applause of the audience.
Finally, the Party History Office of the Dongcheng District Party Committee of Beijing Municipality, the China Fortune Publishing House and the Beijing Historical folklore Society also donated books to the Second Library of Dongcheng District, enriching the library's local literature resources.
A hundred years of glory, taste the fragrance of reading. We opened the prelude to reading the book "New Beijing New Beijing Flavor" in the form of a work sharing meeting, and next, our company will continue to cooperate with the Second Library of Dongcheng District to carry out relevant reading activities in depth and present gifts for the centenary of the founding of the Party!
