Hurricane Ada swept through many parts of the northeastern United States, causing floods, tornadoes and other disasters in 8 states. As of September 4, local time, "Aida" has caused at least 65 deaths, and some of the disaster areas are still in a state of power outage, and many of them need to wait until the end of September to restore power supply.

The Associated Press reported on the 4th that the serious disaster has highlighted the infrastructure problems in the United States, and large-scale power outages have occurred in many places, and about 1 million users in Louisiana have lost power, but the repair work has progressed slowly, and some areas can only restore power supply after the end of September. Residents have also experienced the paralysis of mobile phone services, the suspension of water supply, and severe shortages of gasoline.
According to the ABC reported on the 4th, as many as 22,000 poles in the United States were damaged, more than 5,200 substations failed, and nearly 26,000 pole transmission lines were disconnected.
Ada also wreaked havoc in places like New Jersey and New York, with storm-induced flooding halting the City subway system and disrupting flights at Newark Liberty International Airport. U.S. President Joe Biden plans to travel to New Jersey and New York on Sept. 7 to investigate the damage caused by Hurricane Ada.
At the same time, many people in the disaster area criticized the government's slow response, untimely rescue, and the water supply and power supply have not been restored nearly a week after hurricane Aida hit, making it impossible for residents to maintain basic livelihoods, and many people have been forced to leave their hometowns and seek refuge in neighboring states.
