On weekdays, Mr. Du loves to drink some liquor, and when he worked in Guiyang in his early years, he often bought alcohol and drank it at a tobacco hotel opened by Hong Mou, a woman in Taizhou. The more you buy, the more you get acquainted.

In the second half of 2018, Hong returned to his hometown Wenling due to the expiration of the store rental. In November last year, Hong borrowed money from Mr. Du and wanted to use some "Maotai" wine in his hand as collateral. Mr. Du agreed without hesitation, and offered to sell the wine without collateral.

At a price of 2,400 yuan per bottle, Mr. Du purchased more than 400 bottles of "Maotai" from Hong on two occasions, spending a total of more than 1 million yuan. One of them was in November last year, driving to Wenling, Taizhou, to pick himself up. The other time was in January this year, when Hong sent "Maotai" to the Yongkang Expressway intersection. After getting these wines, Mr. Du used part of it to drink and send friends, and part of it was hidden in his cellar as a collection.

In this regard, Hong did not argue, but asked Mr. Du to put the remaining wine away for himself to drink, and he could also return a part.

Hong's answer made Mr. Du suspect that he had bought fake wine and asked Hong to return the wine money.

The police helped him contact the staff in charge of appraisal of Guizhou Moutai Co., Ltd. and conducted an appraisal of this batch of Moutai liquor, and the appraisal result was counterfeit registered trademark products.

The police also searched From Hong's home, 276 bottles of "Maotai" were found, which were later identified as counterfeit registered trademark products.

During the interrogation, Hong truthfully confessed that these fake Moutai were purchased at a low price from the mobile vendors who recycled the gifts. Later, due to lack of money, she took a chance and sold all the fake wine to Mr. Du.

At present, Hong Mou has been criminally detained according to law for the crime of selling counterfeit registered trademarks, and 276 bottles of fake and shoddy "Moutai" have also been seized by the police according to law, and the case is still under further investigation.
