Through aerial photography, it can be seen that in the 10-meter-deep foundation pit, the construction personnel are grasping the installation of the bottom plate steel bar and the top plate bottom film that penetrate the railway box culvert. The box culvert is 10 meters long, 11 meters wide and 6.6 meters high, and will become a flood drainage channel under the railway after completion, and a total of 4 such box culverts are needed. At present, 65% of the overall project volume has been completed.

The box culvert we are talking about here is the bridge hole seen by the citizens and friends, but the box culvert we have here is built directly below the operation railway, which mainly plays a role in draining floods.
In order not to affect the normal operation of the railway, the construction personnel have supported the work pit on the south side of the railway in the early stage, and reinforcement piles have been added to the foundation on the north side of the railway. In addition, as the first underpass railway project in the region, the project also encountered a number of difficulties such as small space, complex environment and deep foundation pit during the construction process.
Zhang Benzhang told reporters that the project requires the depth of the foundation pit to reach 10 meters, the size is relatively large, the longest place is 57 meters, and the width reaches 38 meters, and they have taken more than 6 types of reinforcement pile construction.
It is understood that the railway section of the Zhangjing Henan Extension And Renovation Project will basically have water access conditions in April next year. At that time, the Acropolis River will be fully connected with Hangzhou Bay, the water quality will be further improved, and the flood control capacity of the punandong area such as JinshanWei Town, Zhangyan Town and Langxia Town will be greatly improved.
