<b>On</b> November 1, the 2021 World Sensor Conference opened at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. With the theme of "Sensing the World and Creating the Future", this conference focuses on "exerting force and creating an industrial ecology", helping Zhengzhou to build a sensor industry ecological development system with advanced technology, prosperous applications, perfect industrial chain and optimized business environment, and providing strong support for promoting Zhengzhou to build a 100-billion-level national intelligent sensor industry base. Representatives of international and domestic organizations, experts and scholars from the global sensor field and well-known enterprises attended the conference.
The conference lasts for three days and is composed of three major sections: the Sensor Conference, the Sensor Industry Scientific and Technological Achievements Exhibition, and the Sensor Innovation Competition (one meeting, one exhibition and one competition).

Fang Jiaxiong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhang Yukui, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhao Liancheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, zhang Xueji, academician of the American Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering, foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, academician of the European Academy of Sciences, and Shen Weiming, academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, attended the conference.
Everything is interconnected, and sensors are the foundation. In recent years, Henan Province attaches great importance to the development of the intelligent sensor industry, and has successively established the Henan Intelligent Sensor Industry Association and the Henan Intelligent Sensor Industry Chain Alliance to build the Zhengzhou China Intelligent Sensing Valley Innovation Base, focusing on the development of the sensor industry and enhancing the comprehensive strength and competitiveness of the intelligent sensor industry in Henan Province.
Hou Hong, mayor of Zhengzhou, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that Zhengzhou will continue to deepen the technology, products, services and application innovation of intelligent sensors, promote the agglomeration and development of five related industries of intelligent terminals, intelligent networked vehicles, software algorithms, integrated circuits and big data, and strive to create a new highland of the 100 billion intelligent sensor industry with international influence.
"Henan will focus on promoting the three major developments of the sensor industry's 'big platform, big center, and big ecology', actively enhance the attractiveness and influence of Henan's sensor industry, enhance the technological innovation capabilities and core competitiveness of China's sensor industry, and promote the rapid and healthy development of the global sensor industry." Actively improve the policy of talent development and scientific and technological innovation, deepen the reform of institutional mechanisms, and create a good environment for the development of the sensor industry. Fei Dongbin, member of the Standing Committee of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and vice governor of Henan Province, said in his speech.
At the opening ceremony, Hanwei Technology Group Co., Ltd. was awarded the chairman unit of Henan Intelligent Sensor Industry Chain Alliance, Henan Haobo Science and Technology Development Group Co., Ltd. was awarded the secretary-general unit of Henan Intelligent Sensor Industry Association, and Zhengzhou Was awarded the title of "Zhengzhou China Intelligent Sensor Valley Innovation Base".
In the signing process, Zhengzhou High-tech Zone, Hebi and other places have signed contracts with enterprise units in three batches, with a total of 24 projects with a total investment of 8.442 billion yuan, of which 19 projects were signed in Zhengzhou High-tech Zone, with a total investment of 7.578 billion yuan.
It is worth mentioning that at the opening ceremony, the "intelligent sensor industry brain" platform of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone was officially released, through the construction of industrial maps and industrial chain panorama modules, to achieve the industrial combat map of the sensor industry resource overview, industrial diagnosis and development route of the high-tech zone, support the accumulation of sensor industry innovation resources, serve scientific quantitative decision-making, master the sensor industry element caliber real-time "base base map base library", and promote the high-quality development of the sensor industry.
It is understood that the World Sensor Conference has been successfully held in Zhengzhou twice, Zhengzhou also relying on a series of activities such as "one meeting, one competition, one exhibition", attracting a large number of authoritative academicians and experts and well-known enterprises to pay attention to Zhengzhou, gathering the Zhengzhou consensus of the development of the intelligent sensor industry, promoting the gathering and sharing of innovative resources such as talent achievements, project research and development institutions, technical standards, etc., and has become a well-known event for the innovative development of the sensor industry at home and abroad.
