With the goal of praising past film achievements and promoting the new creations of young directors, Pingyao International Film Festival focuses on promoting film culture and promoting the growth of young directors, and is committed to providing Chinese audiences with the opportunity to appreciate outstanding film works around the world and promoting the development of local art and culture.
The festival will be held from October 12 to 19, 2021 at the Pingyao Film Palace, with Wang Junkai as the "Special Curator".
"Cosmic Exploration Editorial Department", "Yong'an Town Story Collection", "Venus by the Water", and "Goodbye, Paradise" won the four films of Fei Mu Honorary Best Picture, Best Director, Judge Honor and Special Praise; "Feathers", "Pedro", "Night of Fire", "What Do We See When We Look Up at the Sky"? The four films were awarded The Honorary Best Picture, Best Director, Jury Honor and Special Recognition by Roberto Rossellini, and the short film "The Last Director of the Earth" was screened as a special screening film of Pingyao Night.
