On August 5, the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision issued the Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Prevention and Control of the Epidemic in Retail Pharmacies under the Current Situation (hereinafter referred to as the Notice), clarifying that the city's retail pharmacies will suspend the sale of antipyretic and cough medicines to people with fever symptoms.
In order to strengthen the monitoring and prevention and control of the epidemic situation, effectively give full play to the role of retail pharmacies as "monitoring sentinels", and achieve the goal of "controlling the whole process of drug purchase and sale, although no one is missed", the Notice requires:
1. Retail pharmacies shall not sell antipyretic and cough medicines to persons with fever symptoms, and those who find that such personnel should register their real names, persuade them to go to medical institutions for treatment and report relevant information in a timely manner as required;
2. The epidemic prevention and control of retail pharmacies has been transferred to the state of emergency response monitoring, and a real-name registration system has been implemented for those who purchase antipyretic, cough, antiviral, and antibacterial drugs, and the real-name registration information is uniformly entered into the normalized epidemic monitoring and vigilance system of retail pharmacies in the province;
3. Retail pharmacies should earnestly do their own epidemic prevention work, and implement measures such as temperature measurement, health code checking, vaccination information verification, wearing masks, as well as site disinfection and employee health management;
4. Because the online sales of drugs can not be measured and verified in person, temporarily stop the online sale of antipyretic and cough drugs.
The city's market supervision department will comprehensively increase the frequency and intensity of supervision and inspection of the epidemic prevention and control monitoring work of retail pharmacies in the jurisdiction, and require retail pharmacies to rectify the problems found in the inspection within a time limit. At the same time, strengthen communication and cooperation with relevant departments such as health care, medical insurance, and public security, and effectively form a joint force for precise and intelligent control of the epidemic.
