Nineteen Storytellers: The Stalker (two-minute short story)

The night was thick, and darkness snaked around. Every time she passed through this unlit path, Song Wen could only use the miserly moonlight to brave her way.

There was a gloomy silence, and the footsteps behind him were particularly clear. Cold sweat oozed from Song Wen's forehead, and she could feel the footsteps getting closer and closer to her.

"Just stick to the front."

Song Wen hugged her emaciated body with both hands, sped up her pace, and finally came to the corner, hiding herself.

The people behind her saw her out of sight, hurriedly ran two steps, and just reached the place where Song Wen disappeared, and was greeted by a fist.

"Good you pervert, you dare to follow my sister!" After saying that, it was another kick, right in the middle of the man's leg.

"Misunderstanding, Wenwen, it's me!"

The voice was somewhat familiar, song Wen timidly stepped forward to grab her brother, fixed her eyes on it, and it was her colleague Chen Hua lying on the ground.

"How are you?"

Chen Hua got up from the ground in a daze, scratched his head, and said shyly: "The company has been working overtime recently, and I am not at ease when you walk alone at night, so I secretly followed." ”

Thinking that Chen Hua in the company has been taking care of himself, coupled with this out, Song Wen can not know his intentions.

"These days I always feel that someone is following me, which is why my brother came to help catch the bad guys... You don't know if it's to protect me or scare me. ”

The brother who beat the man said apologetically: "I'm really sorry, the hand is a little heavy." ”

"It's all right, it's all my fault, I probably don't have the talent to track. Wenwen, I'm sorry, I scared you. ”

Song Wen smiled quietly, "As compensation, you will be responsible for sending me home in the future!" ”

For Chen Hua, this was an unexpected surprise, and he quickly nodded in response.

The brother sighed, "Fortunately, it was just a false alarm." ”

Not far away, the man hiding in the darkness witnessed all this, and he lowered his hat and turned away, looking for his next prey for himself.
