The True Colors of Heroes is a 1986 Hong Kong action crime film directed by Woo Woo-sen, designed by Ke Shouliang and Tung Wai, and starring Dillon, Chow Yun-fat and Cheung Kwok-wing. The film pioneered the 1980s underworld hero film in Hong Kong, with a Hong Kong box office of HK$34,161,314, which was the record of that year, and won the 23rd Golden Horse Awards for Best Director, Best Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Recording and Best Film and Best Actor at the 6th Hong Kong Film Awards.

Song Zihao (Dillon) and Li Mark (Mark Brother, Chow Yun Fat) are important figures in an international counterfeit money group, and they are like brothers and sisters to each other. Zihao's younger brother Song Zijie (Zhang Guorong) is trained in the police academy, and his girlfriend Zhong Rou (Jackie, Zhu Baoyi) is in love with him. When Zi Jie learned of what his brother had done and knew that his father's death was indirectly caused by Zi Hao, he was very distressed and vowed to eliminate the evildoers.
