The province launched a "circuit breaker" mechanism, and since the 27th, the province's travel agencies and online tourism enterprises have suspended the operation of inter-provincial group tourism and "air ticket + hotel" tourism products.
The notice proposes that in response to the announcement of Xuefu No. 1 Community in Hongning Street, Wulian County, Rizhao City, Shandong Province as a medium-risk area, in accordance with the requirements of the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Actively Responding to the Covid-19 Epidemic and Further Strengthening inter-provincial tourism management, travel agencies and online tourism enterprises in the province will be suspended from operating inter-provincial group tourism and "air ticket + hotel" tourism products, and inter-provincial tourism business activities will be resumed on their own after there are no medium- and high-risk areas in the province.
The notice requires that travel agencies and online tourism enterprises should do a good job in the aftermath in a timely manner, properly handle the refund of tourists leaving the group, and meet the reasonable demands of tourists to the greatest extent. Strengthen the prevention and control of the epidemic among group tourists in transit, strengthen the health monitoring and safety management of tourists, and do a good job in health protection.
On the same day, the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee issued a notice to coordinate the prevention and control of the epidemic and the leading group (command) of economic operation. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the State Council on joint prevention and control, combined with the situation of epidemic prevention and control in Rizhao City, after comprehensive research and judgment, the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee Leading Group (Headquarters) for Coordinating Epidemic Prevention and Control and Economic Operation has decided to designate the No. 1 Community of Hongning Street in Wulian County as a medium-risk area from 00:00 on October 27, 2021.
