Apple CEO Tim Cook said on the earnings call that Mac's revenue mainly comes from the MacBook Air equipped with self-developed chips.

However, when it comes to the iPhone, Cook said that Apple will "work like crazy" to solve the problem of the iPhone 13 series now having the capacity and supply problems.

In the conference call, Cook believes that compared with the iPhone 12 series, the iPhone 13 series is quite good in terms of sales and user evaluation, and has good sales around the world, but at the same time, Apple has encountered serious supply problems, which makes it difficult for Apple to meet the needs of users for the iPhone 13 series.

According to Cook, such problems arise because of supply problems among related manufacturers caused by this year's chip shortage and the epidemic. In this quarter, Apple has experienced a revenue loss of about $6 billion due to capacity problems, and from the perspective of today's international environment, Apple's production capacity problems in the next quarter will be difficult to effectively alleviate.

However, Cook also said in an interview with the media that Apple is really fighting at present, and it does everything it can to ensure the supply of the iPhone 13 series.

In Cook's view, the sales of the iPhone 13 series are satisfactory to Apple, compared with the iPhone 12 series, the demand is very strong, and Apple has not been well to meet the market demand, which is where they must go all out.

From these words, we can also see that even Apple, which has one of the strongest supply chains in the world, is also plagued by a lack of cores.
