Remember that just in July and August this year, the Guangdong Turtle and Turtle Breeding Industry Association made representations on the issue of state control of turtle and turtle trade. Among them, the current data on the number of artificial breeding has been published. In Guangdong alone, there are more than 24 million yellow-throated water turtles in guangdong's major turtle farms, while the yellow-edged closed-shell turtle ranks fourth with 770,000. The small partners who are puzzled by the collapse of the yellow throat price should be able to figure it out. When supply exceeds demand, the value of the commodity falls. It is not directly related to the appearance, function, quality and other factors of the product itself. Without the main sales channels, the market of Huangyuan is difficult to open, or can not be promoted, which leads to a decline in demand (Xiaobai is gone). The number of supply-side increases, the number of demand-side declines, in this context, will the price not fall?
Suppose, the yellow-edged turtles currently on the market continue to breed artificially, until they reproduce to the same number as the yellow throat, will they collapse? I don't know. However, due to the many precedents of the turtle industry collapsing turtles, merchants may not dare to continue to invest heavily in the yellow turtle under the unclear situation. So the quantity on the market may remain the same, so that the price will remain stable. In short, the price of goods is a matter of supply and demand.
