How to do a good job in ensuring the traffic of the Expo while coordinating the prevention and control of the epidemic? Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Department has held many emergency drills for traffic support at the Expo, and various traffic support work is ready.

According to the relevant person in charge of the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, this year, on the basis of the "accurate, orderly and controllable" traffic guarantee of the first three CIIE, we will continue to adhere to the principle of intensive travel and bus priority, and realize more refined traffic protection schemes, more convenient traffic transfer connections, smarter traffic reservation travel, and safer traffic protection measures. Relevant departments have also formulated special epidemic prevention and control plans for different modes of transportation and strictly implemented epidemic prevention measures. Ensure the realization of the traffic protection work goal of "coming in, going out, walking smoothly, and preventing the epidemic well".

In terms of parking lots, parking reservation services are provided through registration and allocation and free reservation, and 20 temporary parking lots in the surrounding areas, about 2,100 fixed parking spaces and 4,000 shared parking spaces are implemented. A temperature check point is set up in the parking lot to conduct temperature checks on personnel entering the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) out of the parking lot. The "CIIE Parking Reservation System" was launched on October 30.

In terms of rail transit, we will do a good job in accurately matching the transportation capacity and formulate an epidemic prevention plan for the whole road network. Set up "mobile ticketing terminals" at Xujingdong and Zhuguang Road stations near the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), which includes functions such as ticket inspection, supplementary ticketing, and ticket sales for all ticket types. Through video analysis technology, the mask wearing and body temperature of passengers entering the station from Xujing East Station No. 4 and No. 5 are monitored in real time.

In terms of ground buses, 90 bus lines are routinely guaranteed, and 6 parking lot connection lines around the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) are set up. In addition, 70 bus emergency support vehicles are also deployed, including 20 epidemic prevention vehicles. All guaranteed vehicles must open the ventilation device or open the window during the driving process, "one disinfection for one trip, one circle and one cleaning".

In terms of taxis, we will integrate transportation capacity to ensure rapid evacuation at the peak of departure. During the Expo, three taxi arrival and drop-off points in the east, west and north will be set up, with the guarantee capacity of dispatching 4,000 vehicles on peak days of passenger flow. A number of taxi companies are equipped with nearly 2,500 pure electric taxis, and an exclusive guarantee fleet of new energy taxis has been formed at the Expo. All taxi drivers participating in the CIIE guarantee are required to complete the full process of COVID-19 vaccination and do a good job of personal health management.
