According to the official resume, Liu Hong was born in February 1965 in Anfu County, Jiangxi Province, and he has worked at the township grassroots level for a long time, and after 1997, he successively served as Anfu County and Xingan County. In 2006, he was appointed governor of Yongxin County, and in 2011, he was appointed secretary of the Yongxin County Party Committee. In July 2012, Liu Hong was transferred to the party committee secretary of Ji'an County.
