Cao Wen Zhang
Cao Wen Zhang is the earliest Zhang family left in Jiaozhou and Huangdao (Jiaonan), and the population is also the largest. The ancestor of Cao Wen Zhang's surname Zhang Gong moved from Qinghe County from Nanzhi to Qinghe County during the Jiayou period of the Northern Song Dynasty (about 1063), and moved to Cao Wen in present-day Qinghe, Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, Zhang Gong had nine sons, Zhang Gong died and buried Cao Xi (Cao Wen River) Nanlang, song Yuanyou seven years (1092) Cao Wen II nine brothers for his father Zhang Gong erected a monument, the descendants of the nine brothers moved out of the surrounding areas due to the war in the Song and Jin Dynasties, and the family lineage was lost. In the Jin Dynasty, a branch of the Cao Wen Zhang clan moved to Zhangcang (Tieshan Subdistrict). There were 3 people (should be about the fourteenth) at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, 11 people in the sixth dynasty, 18 people in the seventh dynasty, 12 people in the eighth dynasty, and 19 people in the ninth dynasty. Among them, the sixth and seventh generations were in the Hongwu period of great migration, folk also known as "Hongwu dispersion", there are a large number of Cao Wen Zhang clan people moved to other places and lost contact; the eighth in the Yongle period of the great migration, most of the 12 cousins were moved to other places, Cao Wen VIII cousins 12 people, now retain a clear lineage only Zhang Feng, the other branches of the lost lineage.
