"Little Witch Academy" was first one of the "Animation Future 2013" screening works, produced by TRIGGER, which was established in 2011, after the first release in the theater, it was free to watch through YouTube and other online platforms, attracting many fans around the world, and in July 2013, it was crowdfunded on Kickstarter, and after 5 hours, it reached its target amount of 150,000 US dollars, and launched a sequel "Little Witch Academy Magic Parade" in 2015.
