Recently, the 175th issue of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration (National Park Administration) published the "Sichuan Bazhong Precision Prevention and Control All-round Joint Prevention pine wood nematode disease dead trees from 15280 to 7476", to promote the experience of pine wood nematode disease prevention and control in Bazhong City to the whole country.
It is reported that after three years of prevention and control, Bazhong City has explored the establishment of five major mechanisms of "compaction responsibility, accurate monitoring, joint efforts, efficient treatment, and value conversion", invested more than 50 million yuan in funds, more than 200,000 manpower, and the decline rate of sick and dead pine trees is 51.1%, effectively ensuring the ecological security of the forest in Bazhong City.
