Recently, the investigation team of the Wuyishan Institute of Biology in Fujian Province has made a new discovery in Wuyishan National Park - phylloscopus soror.

Pale-tailed oriole belongs to the family Finches, originally one of the six subspecies of the golden orbital oar (phylloscopus burkii), and was identified as a new species after behavioral and genetic identification, there was no record of discovery in Fujian Province before, and the survey team has found bibi's warbler, gray-crowned warbler and pale-tailed warbler in Wuyishan National Park in recent years, all of which are new records of birds in Fujian Province.
